POSITION DESCRIPTION
Position Title: Deputy Production Manager
Report to: Production Manager
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Pharmacist with a Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy.
- Must be registered with the Pharmacy and Poisons Board of Kenya.
- At least three years’ experience in the pharmaceutical manufacturing industry.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Computer literate.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Production planning and scheduling to ensure timely availability of products.
- Implementation of production plans to ensure that production targets are achieved.
- Assuring Quality in all manufacturing activities in production
- Ensuring adherence to set quality, cGMP and manufacturing procedures in Production.
- Participating in the writing/review of Standard Operating Procedures and any other documentation that may be necessary for quality assurance in Production.
- Participating in cGMP committee meetings, self-inspections and external audits.
- Advise and participate in any quality system reviews that may be necessary.
- Rationalize production costs by ensuring optimum utilization of available resources
- Training and development of factory personnel.
